Abstract Geometric Paintings

Several of these original artworks represent painting compositions created after returning to the Sonoran Desert from New York City (c2000-2005) and then a few paintings came to fruition while I transitioned to Seattle (2005-2013).

Incorporating new ideas and flexing fresh muscles, new compositional tools and etc. There is something magical about the return to home after going through an ordeal, in this case an intense urban environment that left little time to reflect or paint (or sleep, really. Pretty fun though!). Taking all of those experiences and watching the world change as Y2K and then 9/11 changed so much of our culture… I was very happy to dive brush first into my art practice. Here are a few fruits of my labors. Some of these original paintings are still in the collection and available for acquisition, many have limited edition fine art prints available as well.
